This Saturday, the Island Trees Girls Varsity Bowling Team bowled their way to being Nassau County team runner-up, bringing home the trophy for second place. The girls were able to follow Seaford’s tail, sustaining their second place spot throughout the six games. Led by Coach Higgins the girls achieved a finish in the Nassau County Tournament which has not been done since 2022.
A big shoutout is well deserved to eighth grader Kaitlyn Lesica, who carried the Seniors. We also recognize our Seniors for their dedication for the past four years to this sport.
