Productivity is very important in life. Productivity allows an individual to stay in a routine, stay busy, and live a healthier life. Examples of productivity are: work, school, sports, the gym, reading, cooking, yoga, and spending quality time with friends and family. Sometimes we catch ourselves being bored and sitting down for extended periods of time on our phones. This is not good for humans. It makes us have a lower attention span and increases laziness. I’m not saying for you to be constantly doing something 24/7, but to create a productive routine that works best for you. Here is my productive daily routine:
- Wake up at 6 am and get ready for school
- Go to school
- Drive home
- Go to the gym
- Have a healthy balanced dinner
- Do homework and study
- Facetime cousins
- Hangout with friends, partner, and family a few times a week
Adapting a healthy productive routine is proven to improve mental health, reduce depression, and live a more active life. Of course it is important to make time for yourself to relax and have leisure time. It is not a good thing to be constantly doing something all the time. It is important to make sure you have enough things to do each day. It keeps your body healthy and your brain functioning.
You will find yourself in a happier state of mind when you are busier and have plans to do each day. Start simple and adapt new hobbies and a balanced productive routine!
