Post Malone finally came to New York on September 29, 2024 at Jones Beach Theatre. It was an amazing experience and all the 15,000 people there can agree. The show started on time and the vibes were there as soon as it started.
As soon as he came on the stage, everyone was screaming and clapping for him. He started off the concert with some of his new country music. The first song he played was Wrong Ones ft. Tim Mcgraw. I didn’t know those songs but I still sang and danced along. Post Malone has an amazing stage presence and truly makes his concerts enjoyable for anybody to watch. He doesn’t have a specific audience. I saw children, elders, teens and adults there.
In the middle, he started to play some of his popular music mixed in with his country songs. I knew the popular songs and the whole crowd did too. This was the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard at a concert. Post was constantly showing appreciation for his band, the audience, life and fans. He told the crowd that they are loved and that they should be themselves no matter what.
Lasty, he sang his best hits and my personal favorite songs. He also brought up a fan to play guitar for Stay. Stay is my favorite song and means a lot to me. It was a beautiful thing to see in person. My favorite part of the concert was when he played the song Rockstar ft. 21 Savage. It was insane. The lights were flashing and everyone was jumping and screaming the song. He ended the show on a nice and happy note when he came out for an encore. He played Sunflower and it was the perfect song to end off with.
I think Post Malone is an amazing performer and a great person to support. Overall, it was the best concert I’ve ever been to and a very memorable experience. If he’s in your city, I highly recommend buying tickets and seeing the show.
