Have you ever sat in class, and came to the realization teachers are people too? If so, here are some  interesting facts about your art teachers you might not have known before! 

Ms.Weber and Mr. Hedstrom share a similar interest in the color blue! Ms.Weber’s favorite show is The Office, on the other hand Mr. Hedstrom’s favorite show is  the Walking Dead. 

Did you know teachers also get the “ick?” Although Ms.Weber loves listening to the song “Sweetness” by Jimmy Eat World in her headphones, her teacher “ick” is when a student has their airpods in. Mr. Hedstrom’s biggest pet peeve is when people, including himself, are late. Mr. Hedstrom is usually caught being late when he is eating his favorite breakfast, Cheerios. 

Something you might not know about Ms.Weber’s is her irrational fear of being chased. So, please do not follow her. Haha!

Mr. Hedstrom doesn’t only have a love for teaching, he also has a love for coaching. He is the head coach of the men’s lacrosse team at Nassau Community College.  A team, which just happens to be the premiere junior college lacrosse program in the country.

So do forget to say “hello” to your art teachers and maybe spark up a conversation about things other than art.
